The content of my blog will change with every new step I make in my career. In my first professional position, I worked in a suburban branch of a four-branch library system in Mesa, Arizona. My position was focused on programming, and I was part of a 2-3 person team coming up with all of our branch's children's and teen programs. It was a demanding and rewarding position where I got to introduce original programs and maximize my creativity. I also made connections with some of the coolest teenagers in the universe. This job definitely taught me a lot about public service and what it means to serve your community's unique needs. I worked in this position from May 2017 to March 2020.
