Homeschool Corner
My best friend Anna has three adorable babies, and she is homeschooling each and every one of them. These posts will be guest-written by her and formatted/posted by me. Homeschooling is a great unsung hero of education; it's not for everyone, but it is a wonderful alternative to public/private/charter school if you have the time and inclination as a parent. As public librarians, my department does our best to connect with homeschool families, to provide fun weekday programs, as well as educational resources to help them learn at home. I'm so excited to have Anna on board to provide a firsthand account of modern homeschooling.
